- Description:
- October is a month of weaning and separating the calves from their mothers. The calves cry out for their moms and start to become hungry from the weaning. Children will also go through times of weaning and separation when they are learning to pick up their own toys, going to school for the first time or learning to tie their own shoes. This is also a time for teaching the children to start to pray on their own. We will take the next 4 weeks and teach the children the Lord’s Prayer. Jesus gave a simple example for us to use as we kneel in prayer to our heavenly Father.
